I really must say for a place we picked out on a whim I was so extremely happy. The food, ambience and service was impeccable! First the parking lot is big but when we arrived most spots were taken. We walked in and were greeted but some nice. Ladies who accommodated us with a cozy table in the corner. They have an amazing menu plus specials to choose from. We also realized this restaurant is associated with Pastavino here on the Island which is a great surprise. Some place I have been wanting to go! We choose a special for burrata with fried portobello and arugula, a pizza MOR, also we tried eggplant parm this come with freshly made rigatoni in a spicy vodka sauce and lastly shrimp risotto with squash. This restaurant is also amazing because they have a macaroni room. YES! They make fresh macaroni right in front of you! The macaroni you order is freshly made and put on the dish.. by far amazing! Everything we ordered was far beyond what we expected. Our favs were the pizza and eggplant parm! The only hiccup was with our drinks but the waitress came thru . I would def come back to visit our waitress Jess and have dinner again!

I've been going here for years anytime I stop through for work. It's always tasty, good quality food. Everything was good per usual, service was OK, apps and dinner were great but dessert is where this place falls down. Anytime I'm having Italian, I have cannolis at the end. I specifically asked if they were made fresh and got the "of course", hence the service being Ok. Clearly they were either purchased from a bakery or batch filled earlier in the day. They were basically inedible from being so soggy. For a place that does really well with the details, don't get lazy with dessert! It's the last impression you make before a patron leaves! So we had a great meal until then, they come out in a pair, we both had a few bites of the filling and left the rest because the shell frankly was gross at that point. Improve on that, and it's 5 stars.

I'd go 5 stars but the place is quite loud-food terrific, waitstaff professional and correct, food tasty, average prices for the area, ample parking. With four cocktails, a bottle of wine, apps and entrees all around, it came all in at $100/per person. Good value.

Dinner tonight in the great town of Red Bank at Birravino Italian Restaurant. Very cool place with great decor, lively vibe, and a comfortable, rustic, yet modernistic, old school Italian feel. The menu was limited but the food was top notch and our server, Matty, was excellent. Small, upscale bar, private wine room dining area, a large pizza oven, and an scenic patio dining area with live music. A lot of stuff going on, and it was all good. Dinner consisted of their Margarita Pizza, which was very good; nicely cooked crust, tasty sauce, and just the right amount of their fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil to top it off. My entree was the Costata Agro Dolce; a perfectly prepared pan roasted Berkshire Farms pork chop, sweet and hot peppers, potatoes, and capers. Dessert was their Torta Di Pesca; Olive Oil Jersey peach cake, walnuts, lemon glazed, with lavender whipped cream on the side. Didn't know what to expect with that one but it turned out to be a great choice. All in all, an excellent dining experience. I would definitely return when in the area. They also have a private parking lot. 08/05/2024

Came a few times and food here is 10/10 didn't try the pizza so don't hold me accountable! Service is attentive and friendly, love the ambiance here we came with and without kids and it was perfect both times my only negative is why is the table always set with a steak knife (a very large one at that) Will highly recommend!

Amazing food! Everyone is so attentive and service is flawless. Wonderful experience.

My friend and I ended up at Birravino before a concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center. It was only about 15 minutes from the venue and had its own parking lot, so it was an ideal choice. It was too hot to sit outside, but we saw their enclosed tent retreat with its beautiful chandeliers and live music. Instead, we were in their main dining room, which was surprisingly spacious, given that it was full of tables; they really optimized the room for maximum seating, while still keeping it comfortable. Both the bar and dining areas were packed with diners enjoying pizzas, pastas, and main courses. In fact, it was tough to decide what we should order. My friend and I debated getting two appetizers each, but that would have been much more costly than a singular entrée per person, so we kept it simple and went that route. After we placed our order, we received a plate of fresh semolina bread, as well as slices of the same loaf, which had been toasted with salty cheese. We munched on the bread while sipping our matching Aqua Jalapeno cocktails, which were wine glasses full of Casamigas jalapeño tequila, San Pellegrino, watermelon, and lime juice. Unfortunately, I found the drink disappointing. It was not properly stirred, so each sip was different - some too tart, some too strong, etc. Plus, while the watermelon seemed like it was real fruit, the cocktail had an artificial taste. Despite that, we loved our meals! My friend found her lemon chicken and spinach risotto comforting and delicious, though she would have preferred less capers were included. I similarly enjoyed my pan-seared, Nova Scotia salmon filet, which was perfectly cooked and salted maybe just a touch more than it needed to be, but I would prefer that over it having no taste at all. The large piece of fish was served over a seasonal blend of warm zucchini, charred pearl onions, and a cold tomato and corn salad. The ideal amount of spring onion crema had been drizzled across the plate, allowing me to incorporate as much or as little of it into my dish as I wanted. We both found Birravino to serve tasty food in a fun, lively atmosphere that made it the perfect pick-me-up before a lengthy concert.

So glad that I decided to try out this Italian spot in Red Bank. The ambience inside is such a vibe and this spot would be awesome for a girls night, date night, celebrations, semi-casual lunch, family dinner, etc. The cocktails we started with were strong & delicious. Enjoyed the Birravino spritz - very refreshing. The food here was absolutely killer! Food wise, was genuinely one of the best meals I've had in a while -- the eggplant parmigiana was absolutely phenomenal. The eggplant was perfectly crispy and flavored so well, and Birravino's eggplant parm dish is served with their signature spicy rigatoni vodka pasta. I could not get enough of it -- was so glad that I ordered it. As a vegetarian, finding the best eggplant parm around in NJ has been a personal goal of mine. Our server was very professional & helpful: he was the one who convinced me that I would enjoy the eggplant parm. Birravino's eggplant parm might be at the top of the list now! A must try. Before the eggplant parm stole the show, we received complimentary house made bread / crostini with olive oil and we ordered the Tri Colore salad - good but very endive/radicchio heavy. I'd probably opt to try another salad option when I return, but it was still a refreshing choice. The burrata pizza was delicious and had a nice, crispy crust to it. Ended off the meal with an espresso and tiramisu and we left satisfied as ever!! Can't wait to return, and cannot believe I didn't make the trip earlier! Bravo, Birravino!

We ate at the new outdoor addition, ambiance was very good and cozy, service was a bit slow as we were about 10 minutes seated before someone attended us. We went there for the tapas and they were great, wine and cocktails were good too. Definitely a place to return
